Cheryl has recently begun to experiment with 16mm motion picture film. Her camera of choice is a vintage Bolex. All the special effects in her films are done in camera without post-production. She is particularly excited and fascinated by the haunting effect that is particular to multiple exposing moving images. Some of her work is included here.

Shot and edited by Cheryl Spinner. Camera: Bolex. Film: 16mm. Location: Durham Hebrew Cemetery in Durham, NC. Music by Zak Block. The Ladies: Jessica Hines and Abby Seeskin.
